Students learn proper emergency care for: bleeding; soft tissue trauma; chest trauma; abdominal and genitourinary trauma; orthopedic trauma; head, face, and neck trauma; spinal trauma; trauma in special populations; and environmental trauma. Students also discover how to manage trauma when multiple body systems are affected.
